Hailing from three corners of the globe comes Last Nation an ethnic mix brought together through a love of music.

The inspiration behind the band name derives from a feeling that the world is slowly becoming combined and distorted through the globalisation of the planet and the breaking down of barriers where one day the world will be so intertwined it will feel like one and become the last nation.

The sound is influenced by Placebo, Warrior Soul, Sonic Youth and Muse and is essentially rock music. However added to the rock template is a rich tapestry of sounds from a slightly Eastern European chaotic flavour on the guitar to the more laid back melodic passion found in the Southern extremes of the globe. Added to this is the solid hard hitting varied groove of the drums, which allows the music to shine and the sound to truly rock.

The band consist of a russian (Sergey guitar) a brit (Tedd drums) and a kiwi (Regan vocals/bass). Each member has done his own personal tour of duty to get to this point where all three met in the hustle and bustle of London town in the summer of 2005.

Sergey having broken the communist constraints of Russia when 17 ended up in a lab in Oxford before taking his experimental musical extremes to London. Regan made the long trip from the even sleepier haven of New Zealand before also ending up in Oxford and then London where he formed a band with Sergey.Tedd moved from sleepy backwaters of Cambridgeshire to London to become the final link in the chain that is Last Nation.
