"There are, at last count, 374,900 million advisory articles telling bands to record their three best, best, bestest tracks to put on a demo. Sound advice, unless you kick arse like Last Nation. Outta the traps like starved wolves after a gravy-soaked rabbit with the late Boomtown and very ratty-rock nag of "Tick-Tock", not so much acknowledging the influence as ripping it's lungs out, we like. Lot of good stuff here, "Hate" was jumpy-nerve-twitched thunder bass and drill riffing, "Disco Fever" wasn't disco, but was dry-iced new romantic metal shuffling and very neat."
"Last Nation are a trio who seem hell bent on success and should have angst teenagers everywhere jumping with glee"

"this is serious stuff: aggressive post-hardcore rocking with a metallic sharpness, not unlike Dive Dive at times, it's an effective stab at the harder edge of emo, It’s confident and slickly-constructed stuff and hopefully has enough character of its own to push on from here" Nightshift Oxford
